Pretty much, don't do anything to the focus. The Megane is rotting away the only other cars I do are work mates who "want their car looking as good as mine" so they all require machining

Make sure when the battery goes back on the terminals are clean (sand them preferably) and tight. id hazard a guess at a flat battery due to possible short journeys? Either way before forking out on a new alternator I'd focus on the battery first
