Nothing phases those guys. Nothing.
But yeah, like I said yesterday, the 800 "Standard" cars are there to be raced only, with limited views. The "Premium" cars are allowed wheel swaps, as well as other cosmetic upgrades (or downgrades). They also have an interior view, which is a lovely...
Well, I was remaining on the fence until it was confirmed, but I think this just about covers it :
Honestly? Disappointed. Massively. Like Chris said a few pages back, bumper cam and hood cam and vag cam are all well and good, but driving from within the c*ckpit adds a sense of reality to...
So 200 or so of the cars you can customise (with aftermarket alloys and the like) and race.
The rest of the "Standard cars" you can just race. No other visual customisation, IIRC?
Just been browsing through the pictures and videos thread over on GTP :

First page of pictures aside, some of the detailing on the Premium cars later on in that thread is truly staggering.

Seems a lot of folk were surprised by the score
I thought it was January 2011, not March, but then I never know if it's the American MM/DD/YY or English DD/MM/YY.
Either way, it looks great. Love the sniper shots in the second vid, especially on the chopper pilot.
It seems like damage has been toned down even more for the final release. More like Dodgems and trying to counter the on-rails AI.
Leaked retail copy (advance to to 4 minutes in the first video for the "damage") :
Yeah, I'm usually Assault, too. Got close to 6000 kills now, and my K/D ratio is 1.04 which is the best it's been for a while.
Played for over 215 hours, too.
