    Toe

Cheers guys. In that case I might set it parallel so it'll naturally toe out slightly once the cooksport springs settle

    possible cheaper inner track rod?

Are these the same for a Ph1 172 or is that different?
  3. Grandpa Joe

    Toe

Going to get the tracking set after fitting the cup arms to my ph1. How much toe works well? Still want decent turn in but keeping good straight line stability. I suppose parallel is the halfway point...

    Piper cams kit

I'm lucky and the rollers aren't a problem. I'll email Henk as what I want to clear up is whether he will adjust the map once or if you send it back for fine tuning.

    Piper cams kit

I'll be doing my logs at the local RR so I can monitor things and make sure I get what I need.

    Piper cams kit

I need to email Henk and ask a couple of questions about it. From what I understand you do the same as you would taking it somewhere to be mapped anyway, but maybe spend less time on it so you don't get the absolute maximum out of it.

    Piper cams kit

£312 and send your old cams to Piper, they send them back within 10 days or so. As for how safe on a standard map I don't know. I'm going to see how it runs on 98ron remap. I know Paul at RS tuning can supply and map these but to keep costs down on mapping, travel and as I already have an rs...

    Engine Dynamics.

You could do Piper cams for an extra £320 whilst the engine is out for a bit more go. Or 197 cams if you can get them cheap. Both a bit less than Catcams and it would be rude not too  I've been there before a few times with decent engine builds....not going there again

    Engine Dynamics.

If you want the head doing for a good price then look no further than the group buy I've got going. Get some better valves in there too at the same time. Then hand it back to A N Other to build the engine. As for revs you're going to need better springs and rockers unless you stick with the...

    Piper cams kit

Maybe worth giving Piper a call and say you had them fitted but removed them due to issues not having the shims and would they honour you with a shim kit?

    Cam and dephaser change

My Piper cams have turned up with the shim kit. I'm going to get a new dephaser and a belt. Is there anything else that needs replacing on the F4R?

Mocal socketless hose. GIVE ME YOUR TIPS

I've used this. As someone mentioned above. Lots of force and boiling water. You need the fitting and the hose HOT and then use dishcloths or rags so you don't get burnt. Push and twist and keep going. Eventually it'll go. Once its on it's not coming off unless you cut it. And then you have to...

It's not hard. More concerned about space for it all where the A/C is. More losses than a rotrex but a damn sight cheaper

    Omex ecu 700 & loom

Yes. It's better than the 600 series. You have the potential to use a 197/200 dephaser and have more control over the VVT too.

    Throttle Bodies question.

Don't want to know what a Nova is like at 170mph! My Mk2 Fiesta at a genuine 140mph was quite a scary place to be. In my Focus its nothing!

    DTA S40

I've got a nearly new DTA S40 with innovate wideband sat here from my zetec turbo. To save it going to waste I'm contemplating sticking it on the Clio. My questions are:- Is it capable (spec wise) of running on a Ph1 with all the sensors, VVT etc.? Will it cause issues with dash lights...
