what are the reasons? if your fully comp and someone else is the registered keeper you could drive it third party without paying.
if not add it to your policy?
toy pop my 182 doesnt suffer from the knocking problem
that said im not sure about the centre section of the exhaust sounds slightly different but to be honest i think its just me looking for it

after some experimenting i discovered there is about a nats willy in it in terms of outright speed. (cup&182)
in terms of a better car the interiors on a 172 mk2 and 182 are the same but the most people agree the handlings better so the 182 has to be the best ;)

sounds like you were quick in turning it off so i doubt there would be much if any internal damage.

^^^ agreed you try driving something 3 times a long as a car and twice as slow. waiting forever for a gap big enough in busy traffic
if a bus pulls or lorry pulls out infront of you on a roundabout do what i do break and say fair play!
PS Im not a bus driver (driven plenty of overloaded...
no need mate its a modern car battery should be fine.
running it for a few minutes doesnt charge the battery up enough to replace the power lost used when ou start it up. needs a few miles of drivingto do that.
leaving it running when its stood still from cold can screw the cat up.
