Yeah I had issues with that before. Anything more than .5mm away and I wasn't getting a reading, this is as close as I could get it without it touching but it seems I was ever so slightly out.
It's not worn through the plastic, its literally either shaved a fraction of a mm off it or just rubbed it slightly.
would such little damage throw the readings off that much?n
It's on my megane, it has a vag box conversion and I'm using a custom flywheel with a ford zetec sensor.
its been running in the base map and it cut out all of a sudden, put it on the laptop and its telling me its reading at least 9000 rpm.
nothing has moved and it was running fine it just cut...
If the cps is catching on the flywheel when it turns will it cause damage?
currently mine is literally skimmed by the flywheel and you can see its shaved a slice off the end, would this cause a malfunction?
Lol mines like that.
megene 1.6 with a 2.0 engine, vw gearbox, fiat 4 pots, 197 diffuser, evo seats.
should call it Frankenstein lol.
i ended up just making a few panels out of 1.6mm steel and welding that into place, your lucky to have had the choice of a 182 floor :)
thanks :) took me...
Thanks :) had a ball ache fitting it to the bumper, I'm very interested to see how the OP is going to tackle it.
he has it easier though as there's a line across the back of the Clio bumper for the insert to follow and it seems the perfect height to mount it too.
had to chop my boot floor out...
Looks good :)
how are you planning on attaching it to the bumper? I had a right pig of a job trying to fit it to mine.
edit: and how are you going to support the undertray
Looks awesome when its done IMO, really adds to the back of the car :)
Here's my effort...
painted mine bmw carbon...
Quick question, is this adhesive he uses super special or something as whenever you apply a sticker you always degrease the area your sticking it to and he's just used a shed load of chemicals all over the car.
wouldnt any normal "sticker" just fall off?
Re: CLIO IV RS for 2013, Last news - NEW DETAILS #1779
Balls!
what if I've seen a mk1v in the flesh and found it surprisingly good looking but still overall a bit poo?
Re: CLIO IV RS for 2013, Last news - NEW DETAILS #1779
Whilst it looks a hoot to drive I still can't get past how f**king ugly it looks!
no doubt ill like it in a few years time though when that look is more mainstream
Ahh right, I wasn't aware.
still properly amazing the things they can do. Makes you wonder why it hasn't been tried in over 100 years.
more power more torque more efficient. Seems silly
