I put money on the spacer not being central, have the same issue with 5mm spacers on the BMW. If they're not near enought central when the wheel goes off it acts like an imbalance and makes the wheel wobble.

The shell he bought was rusty as feck, he's chopped bits out and rebuilt it very well though and resprayed it himself. He only bought it to rally anyway and tbh I can't wait :)
My mate is currently doing this to an rst he's painted his white too only he's not as fussy as you're being and just putting old rusty bits back on it as he will be rallying it

If you can get one to fit yes but to make the most out of it you need management that understands the changes. Standard engine management doesn't have to scope to increase bhp much more than 1 or 2 just by bolting bits on
I put my turbo engine in another car with no turbo on it to run it in for about 800 miles.
started off not going above 4k but with lots of heavy load accelerations then started revving it a bit more when I got to about 700 miles.
its now in my car with a turbo on it and seems to be holding up...

Run it into the ground. Scrap will be worth roughly £150. See if you can sell the panels like wings, bonnet etc. or the light clusters, wing mirrors etc. and buy another from the spare change
