I agree totally! I had to wait till I was 25! I have friends that are 20 who pay 1600 on a standard. I now pay £450.
I would definatly have killed myself in a 172 at 19!
Sorry fella
Looking nice Laura. I must admit it did take me a while to get used to your new wheels, but they're definatly growing on me!
Don't worry the PH1 one is still going nicely! But for the rust that has suddenly popped up on the rear arches! :-(
I'm told that the V-power does make a difference although it depends on how the car is mapped! On a standard car as mine currently is, the difference wasn't noticed for several fill ups as the ECU has to change stats over time but on a properly mapped ecu I'm told on good authority that there is...
To be honest, it depends what you want from the car! I've had the 1.8T A4 and it was a quality car! Loads of mod cons and a pretty fun ride. The build quality is great if not a little over engineered. In comparison, the 172 that I have now is a piece of bendy tin! Great fun don't get me wrong...
When I do mine, I can't be bothered to lie down so just undo the 2 hex screws and take the whole light fitting out, quick and easy to get to without getting dirty on the floor! Mind you i guess it's different from model to model.
To be honest, I have greenstuff pads on my 172 at the mo and they're not all that great! It stops slower than my old Audi A4 estate! They fade pretty quickly!
