Well I was in the same boat a while back and I went for the Cup Spoiler. For me the V6 spoiler just looks too stuck on if not on a V6 and if you look at it side on it looks out of place. Plus the Cup spoiler brake light matches the rear lights. Also saves you about £100 :) All IMO
Hi :)
You should be able to get the windscreen repaired on insurance. They just fill it in to stop it cracking anymore. The droning noise could be a wheel bearing? The rubbing sound from the front when you boot it could be an engine or gearbox mount. Think they all do it though so wouldnt...
The ones on the door slide to the back of the car. The one on the rear quarter slides to the front of the car. They are just clipped in. May require a bit of force :)
Yup the Mk2 Ph2 bumpstrips should fit on to any Mk2 Ph1 aslong as its a 3-door car. Im sure any Mk2w Ph2 badge will fit on not just the 2.0 16v badge. They are a straight swap. Just slide the old ones off and slide the new ones in, they use the same clip holes :)
I found this happened on mine too. Just get a pair of plyers and crush the U-shape bit that holds the wiper in a little so its a better fit. Have used mine for like 6months now and they havnt fallen out :)
Are they the same as on the 1.4rt? On my old rt mine started cracking so I sanded them down and filled the cracks in then sprayed over with black paint. Looked like new. Dont know if its the same for the 16valve though :)
Looks gorgeous :) nice and subtle. The only other things I would suggest bar the skirts is silvervisions for the rear lights and side repeaters. Everything else is spot on. Dont get 172 bumpers!!
