Yeah, fair point. I'd probably do the same if I hadn't got a PS3 for Christmas. As such, I've had Uncharted 2 and now MGS4 to contend with. So many games I'd like to play on the 360, though. Bayonetta, Borderlands, Mass Effect, Saints Row 2... I still want to finish Dead Space but the disc...

I honestly couldn't get involved in a game like Mass Effect now, with Mass Effect 2 on the way. I'd never be off it and want to finish it before, and I'm far too impatient to wait before playing a better sequel. Add to that I have so many other games I need to finish or at least get involved in.

I think one of the accomplishments at the end is rewarded for not being detected a maximum of 10 times and only 3 kills - in the entire game! :S F*ck me, that's going to be tough, so I'll settle with what I'm doing at the moment, which is stealth about, get spotted, panic and wildly fire...

Yeah I've played the others, but TBH I've played them as games rather than piecing together bits of the plot and character models, so I've probably forgotten just who is who and why they are there. I mean, MGS4 was released in 2007/08 IIRC? That's 2 years at the very least since I've played a MG...

Well, quite. But saying that, God of War III, Crysis 2, Ghost Recon 4, Bad Company 2 and even Alien vs Predator won't be slouches in the quality department. Then there's games I neglected to mention, such as Dead Space 2, which looks superb :cool:

I have no idea how you force the PS3 to play at 1080p, either. Mine auto sets it to 720p, regardless of what I do. :S Infact, I'm not even that concerned, as there's no point upping the resolution. The game is set to run 720p.

I agree the train bit is a bit of a strange start, but all becomes apparent later on... it helps if you remember the route, too. There are also 5 treasures to be found on that Chapter ;)

It looks pretty enough in 720p, TBH. As it was my first game played on the PS3 over Christmas, it took me around 20 minutes to realise it wasn't my TV's fault for automatically setting the resolution to 720p. I was trying to change it back to 1080p for ages and even tried a few internet...
