Did for me but it kept coming and going for ages until it finally decided to stick! Kept resetting it but it would come back on average after about 50 miles driving... just got a new one fitted monday though and all good now ;)
Hey thanks a lot for your reply.
It's good to hear about the capped delivery for Cliosport members...
Can you confirm that it would cost £12 to set a send of four pads to Essex? There's no rush as I just need to get them before my next MOT.
Hi didn't know where to post but it's to do with brake pads so...
Just checking this is right as if so, I'm quite astounded tbh!
Just added one pair of front pads to my basket, delivery charge - £8.00 (which seems a lot in the first place, but fair enough, I could deal with that)
Added the...
Just got my car back from a service, all good, but I need to replace the pads all round within the next six months, so the garage man says.
He explained them as being 70% worn on the front, and 50% on the back, realistically how many miles am I looking to get out of them?
I've been looking...
I've done this to a previous car, cost me about £950 to sort out. Almost a write off, although mine did look slightly worse than that. Fixed it but as someone already said, was never the same again.
Might be worth cutting your losses mate, have you asked advice at a garage?
s**t myself when the steering goes light and you feel a slight drift!
On the plus side my car's going in for it's service tomorrow, just up the road, so I don't have to drive to work as someone's picking me up :D
Next year I'll think I'll buy a snow-only car that I don't care about :o
Damn it
Just done a 15 mile trip from cinema to girlfriend to mine... first corner off from girlfriends went round a corner so slow I was hardly moving (was pouring with snow!) and slowly drifted into a curb. Felt ABS kick in but despite my efforts nothing could stop me from sliding...
Adrian Flux, depending on who they insure you with.
I've had 206 GTi, twin exhaust, lowered, aftermarket alloys... and a Honda CRX, same as above (single exhaust though!) and also full bodykit and tinted windows. All mods on both cars insured completely for free, I even had to send in photos...
Just got back from a nice 2 1/2hr clean in 0°C lol... anyway, worst looking thing on the car atm is around the badges, just cannot get the dirt away. I did have a little detail brush somewhere (can't find it) but remember using it on my 206 and it wasn't all that tbh.
What do you do for a...
Funny, I always hear it the other way around... too many people not enough jobs to go round!
We've been touch and go at work the last few months, we are sub-contracted to work for Renault, and they don't wanna pay us as much as last year :dapprove: I see the chance of a payrise this year...
Hi my girlfriend might be over taking my contract, but mine doesn't run out until September, which means I can upgrade in June right? She doesn't want the phone I currently have, and doesn't want to wait that long.
But... can I phone Orange and say I want to start another 18 months from now...

Yeah but do it as in blue or black? Doesn't really help does it...
I reckon blue would look good mate if you can find a match? I know it might not sound like the best combo but gold callipers honestly look the b****cks!
