Sold the volans and sent the turbo off for a rebuild. Previous owner told me it had a 19t but unfortunately it appears it has a 16t. Not really something you can check on the car. Anyway, hoping to upgrade some parts when it’s rebuilt so it should be better than it was.

Commuted in the forester today. It does far better on juice than the volvo.

Volvo turbo has decided to poo itself so will probably be the foz.

I had a guy who didn’t have tax since April the other day. Went to take the car but apparently they have suspended seizures due to Covid. Great deterrent.

It’s a principle thing. The previous owner paid for July so I don’t think the government should get it twice.

That route would cost me £75 in juice in the volvo.

Ive not really driven it that much. I’m too tight to pay for car tax after the 15th of the month.

I must admit, I’m starting to agree with you.

Finished my three day cleaning session today (probably only 8hrs in total but I broke it down). Washed, rinsed, fall out remover, Clayed, polished and waxed. Needs a dent man out for a few car park dings but nothing extreme. Few pics;

There are some horror stories out there but this has had some ‘preventive’ work done on it with a head skim, new head gasket and arp head bolts. It’s also had the clutch and cambelt done recently so I’m hoping they’re a few bills that Iwon’t have to worry about.

It’d be a money pit, Phil, but looking at your current selection of vehicles - you like a money pit!
