thats a generic picture. If it says mk 1 it either means mk1 as in pre 98 OR a misinterpretation for a mk2 phase 1
either way i would say that it wont fit on a cup

i believe depending on temp and what gear you are in it will limit it at diff stages, (what i heard on here)
However it sounds like its just simply not warmed up enough. when the temp needle on the dash is half way this doesnt mean the oil is up to temp... just the coolant.
might sound stupid but my car battery was pretty much dead, which caused my alarm to go off, the volts dropped to low and its some sort of system to let you know by the alarm going off. mine is also a cobra alarm.
check the battery isnt dead.
and also as above change the battery in the key too.
dont think so....but if you dont have another car then maybe...?
i couldnt transfer my ncb as i kept my clio and started a second 'commercial van' insurance policy with SFA NCB

yep its screwed into the thermo housing, if you go into main dealer thing they can find it easily on the autodata exploded diagram thingy to get part number.
