It's personal preference and circumstances in the end. I do a lot of miles for work, regardless of weather conditions. Whereas someone that doesn't cover as many miles, won't have the same demands of a tyre.
Objectively I'd imagine the Exalto and the F1 perform fairly equally, but I wouldn't...
My cousin was in Monaco for GP weekend. Some young fella turned up in an MC12, jumped out and had a quick chat. Then got into his Veyron and drove off!
Doesn't matter IMO. The wet grip isn't good enough (IMO), and that'll manifest under emergency braking regardless of how easy you take it.
The T1r's are decent enough, but I'm going back to F1's for winter.
Awesome cars, but you won't lose a 182 in one. The sensation of speed is increased as they are so f**king raw (in a very good way), and the step up at vtec, but in reality there's f**k all in it.
As said, love them to bits.
Try an R26 then go from there. No doubt the 197 looks better, how important that is, is up to you. Doesn't bother me at all, it's a hatchback at the end of the day, there are plenty of coupes etc that are far better looking than any hot hatch, all IMO.
