Me. Looking for a TDi Ibiza Cupra to replace the wife's hideous rover 25.

    1st decent clean

No. Keeping it and buying the wife a better motor. Aiming to get this to 210ish bhp within 12 months.

    Finished the cup interior

I've been told it's safer, where they're mounted now, they'd exert force downwards on the spine?:S

Why not have the harnesses attached to the cage?

    Rear Exhaust Mount

I've just used reinforced rubber pipe. No extra vibrations, if it wasn't for the (IMO) poor exhaust design it'd be spot on.

    Rear Exhaust Mount

Ktec use cable ties and piping themselves when fitting exhausts. Hardly ghetto.

Wouldn't bother with new mounts, they'll fail again. Just rigged this up

    coilover setup

When are you gonna be able to do this fella? What do you think of kw v2 vs H&R/AST?
  15. ForceIndia

    coilover setup

Like I said fella. Powerstation have a base set-up due to the number of AST kits they've fitted. It's worked for the AST's. There's no trial and error involved. The damping on H&R, KW, Vmax etc is obviously going to be different. But if you look around at motorsport places, £240 for coilover...

    coilover setup

Look around fella. The powerstation set-up uses their base set-up, works very well on the AST's. They set Riz's H&R's up, felt cack. Nothing against them at all, very good lads, but all they know is AST. A proper motorsport place will charge more, but they are starting from stratch and will...

I drove a 182 Trophy and it blew me away!

FFS. The 1*2 xenons are s**t! Poor light spread, standard lights with uprated bulbs give better light coverage. The Trophy's the peak of the 1*2 range, full stop;)

    DIY suspension fitting

Not sure on the bearings fella, I'm sure Fred may know!. The rear dampers are rebadged Renault one's (I think), available direct from your local friendly renault stealer. There's a few people on cliotrophy running with the sachs fronts, and koni adjustable rears, might be worth seeing if any of...

    DIY suspension fitting

The 172 and non-cup 182 have a different hub to the Trophy/cup pack'd 182. Different bolt spacing. Sounds as though the KW's are for a 172, hence swapping the hubs over.

    172 Cup servicing advice...

Cup and 172 engine's are the same, nothing you've listed would be different.
