If the cambelt is snapped it's not going to start??! You can't see the cambelt looking under the bonnet? it will be the aux belt you can see. Put money on it's broken.

Cambelts snapped, pretty certain. It's spinning over fast because it has bent valves and no compression! Get it to a garage!

We charge £450 as does fred, that is including a cambelt kit (gates we use) and a genuine renault auxiliary drive belt kit, labour and vat etc. If we have a car for 9am, its done for 2, all roadtested bill done etc etc. Out of interest who quoted you?

yes. left mine for 3 days last week and had to cough for about half a mile!! Better than some i have drove but still not good!

Make sure you turn the tc off! Or you will splutter and cough and look like a tool!!
