    My new Cupra Derv

It's cheaper than buying the genuine semi slicks. As stated, passed its mot and only advisories were the front tyres which I knew about so happy days. Also got a deal on a re gas on the air con so mot and air con for £60 nips.

    Matthew's BMW Z4 (#2)

    It's a price worth paying for 200mpg!
  6. leeds_182

    My new Cupra Derv

Yeah, I'm hoping it scrapes through on the front tyres. They're close to the limit!

When I drive convertibles I feel like a total bell end.

New member after a Clio turbo

My advice would be to steer clear of them unless you like repairing them. I'm sure they're good ones out there but I think the majority have had issues and turn into money pits.

    I'm well happy.

    My New Chicken Chaser

I won't ride it if it's wet or damp so have never really noticed if I'm honest. It used to do it on my push bike so I'm guessing it will do it on this!

New swing arm came the other day. 2cm longer and aluminium rather than pig iron. Jam was extra.

    PH1 172s

I haven't seen one on the road in ages and saw one yesterday. What a good looking car they are now! Didn't use to like the front end on them but much prefer them to the 172 now. Only ever had one before which was an exclusive but seeing that one had me heading to the classifieds.

    My New Chicken Chaser

Mine has got the 110 head already. If I'm changing the engine I'll go for a 140 or 160cc pit bike engine. I'll obviously declare that as I'll obviously have to do my full license to ride it then.....obviously.

    My new Cupra Derv

I can't hear the exhaust over the sound of someone shaking a box full of nuts and bolts that comes from the engine bay.

Wash and wax today. Still enjoying it for what it is - a nippy commuter that does 40 plus mpg.

Anyone heard of BB Performance Tuning?

BB were reputable mate. I stopped caring about belts about 5 years ago. Bought 4 that were done by (dare I say it) non specialists and they were all c**k on.

    My New Chicken Chaser

No, @craigyt built his from a box of rusty parts and I bought mine from some chav in castleford. There's a few like these on eBay though - potential money maker for Restos as values appear to be on the up.

    My New Chicken Chaser

First ride today! Loved it! So easy to ride and nippy enough to keep me happy. Will pootle along at 50-60mph with no issues. Couple of pics. Shame about the gay as L plates but got to keep it legal.
