Yeah a few people were looking at light on it too on the path I was on. Was nice.
Been thinking about starting to try and do some sun set shots any advice on settings and set up? There is a nice spot about 10 minutes away from here a nice valley see for miles, was thinking of a tree as a main...
I'm happy with it but feel could be better, I wasn't sure if it was the best time of day taking the shot, was taken around 19:00. I did like the sun on the cathedral but not much on the fulling mill. Yeah I did notice the towers weren't straight I did try changing the zoom but couldn't get a...

Second attempt at this shot, had to get through big metal fences to get this shot as it was cornered off to public. Naughty me lol. Went here yesterday but didn't take tripod, not sure if i got the lighting right...
Having 5 1 from each is a great idea, looks really tidy not too over crowded with stuff that you don't really need. Is there a function to turn off the slide show by the customer or is it on your end? Having one is nice and simple but having 5 gives more choice but having one brings the customer...
Could you give the option of having a slide show of your pics on the home page?
I'd like to set up a website one day and get some company cards too lol. I'm not good enough yet and way down the line
This is another possibility I'm taking it to class as a Small Landscape Picture. It's called Seaweed Valley but after looking at home as yet i had problems getting the autofocus focused at the thirds had to put it in Manual and focused near the middle, so thoughts?
I was quit struggling with...
With the first shot i had problems i think with the Auto Focus on the kit lens so put it in Manual and focused it on the Lego figure and wanted the elephant in focus too but the flowers out of focus. After getting home and looked i think the elephant should of been the focus point or should of...
I'm still tempted in this you lot. But i don't think i'll be taking my car if i go i'd be more than happy being a passenger in one of your cars and be taking plenty of pictures. As i say September would be good. Right now be up for it but could change down the line. Need a place of my own right...
Spot on that, congrats on getting some pics in shops and exhibition too. Setting up a website is a very good idea, i'd rather set up a website and put my pics up on there than putting them on Flickr i think, I'd like to set up a website too but i think it's way too early or can you set one up at...
I went to Liverpool and Manchester over the weekend and honestly i had no time at all to take pics properly. Was rushing about everywhere and i'd like to go back to Liverpool cos it was a nice place far better than Machester. I did take some very quick point and shoot pics, i have to admit their...
Just had a look on your Flickr account, where abouts did you go in the Lakes? I really want to go back to Lake Buttermere area, amazing place I went too. You got some really good ideas on your other pictures, not bad at all.
If it was me, i'd stick to what you got. Just get some decent lenses on it that's if your still using the kit lens and their not the best but will get you going. Way down the line get a full frame budget one. Bigger sensor = more light getting in = better colour shots if if got this right lol...
Got my camera all packed up and both batteries charged up and kit lens 18-55mm and a 50mm 1.8. Not sure what to put on the 500D first i did have the 50mm but it's like 70 odd mm so be hard to use it round town i think? So put the 18-55mm on and change to 50mm if i see the right shot and plenty...
I'm not sure what to think at the minute, some say even though you put a water mark on your pics it's very easy to erase it and even a low res picture they can get round that too.
Yeah tides are very hard to time properly. A good stable tripod, i've never put stuff like a bag/weight on the tripod's hook to make it more stable but worth a suggestion. I've tried doing long exposures in the water and tide coming in it can make to tripod shake a little. Next time eh hope you...
The first two are nothing special, just got bored and knocked a couple up on Photoshop. Took those a fair few weeks ago in Seaham. The tide was out so next time i'm going to time it right and do some Long Exposure and get a little more closer to the ground get some pebbles in or rocks or...
Good pics there, the second one works better on Composition. The first one, i think a little bit less sky and long exposure on water, over all pretty good
On Flickr i've got my License on "None All Rights Reserved" is this the standard one to have on? Just wondering about people downloading images of there. Will that cover this from happening? Who can access your original files, i've got his setting set for me only. No idea what the other Licenses do
Yeah I know what you mean I shot in JPEG years ago
Looks a good shot, how much of it would of been missed out if you had a bigger zoom lens?
I've noticed one or two people on here darken the top of the picture and corners to guide you in the middle. how do you do it on Photoshop?
fucken hell that small, i'm of to see Mrs Brown Boys with my brother in law and nephew my sister couldn't go I'm taking her place. Leave on Friday morning and show is on Friday night and leave on Saturday so should have a few hours free. I'll write these places down and see how things go.
I've got no idea where in Liverpool and Manchester were going to, so i thought and get some suggestions from here and get some ideas, i would of thought we might have some free time to our selves but were getting down there by bus so pretty restricted like. I'll be defo be going down the docks...
