If he had a brain then i'd have got him a folding staircase, a few of his mates have them and it works well, but Erik's thick as sh*t and would probably try and jump over it, he also struggles with which car is mine and which door he should use, he's tried to get in the drivers seat quite a few...
I miss my E46 it was comfy and reliable, until the rear end went wrong and I had to scrap it, also the dog started to struggle with jumping in the boot and kept smashing his nuts off the bumper.
Tbh I just can't trust it to not cut out, we've replaced the throttle body & accelerator, the injectors & fuel rail, the spark plugs, the HT leads, loads of relays, i'm starting to think that no matter how many problems we solve this cutting out issue will always be left, i'd need to use it for...
It does it at all temperatures, then it won't do it for days, then it'll do it loads for a bit, then go back to being fine for a while, the fact it's still quick with no warning lights or limp mode leads me to think it's a short somewhere.
It also has a miss fire, I don't know if it's related.
Coriander Drive, it was obviously meant to be.
I drove my Clio today for the first time in ages, I was feeling good about that until I saw yours, now i feel like sh*t again, thanks a lot.
It's lovely mate, not jealous at all!
Been a while since I updated this thread, my poor Clio has been sat out the front for a couple of years since it started having electrical problems, it randomly cuts out and when started back up has the electrical fault light on the dash, the fuel gauge dies, it over fuels, stinks of petrol and...
I thought the Cannonball started in the 70's I had no idea it started in the 1900's, basically as soon as people owned cars they started driving them coast to coast.
I don't even know what's wrong with it yet, could be a cheap fix, could be new engine time, all I know is it's tapperty, it missfires and cylinder 4 is significantly down on compression
If it's Anglesey I'll need one of my sh*t heaps working, always wanted to drive that track, I don't trust the Golf to make a single lap before something let's go and the Clio might have a stuck lifter, or valve, or f*cked piston ring, so it might need an engine rebuild.
Shame you have to book...
What about splitting it into two events?
Normal CSF day like we used to have at Gaydon and Duxford and a separate track day at another venue on a different day, it's not ideal but it has the advantage of only having to organise the CSF day as a track day company can organise the other.
Might...
£25 is fne i'll get them off ebay, I don't trust autodoc after reading a lot of people get sent they're own brand stuff rather than what they actually ordered.
