haha i was like that when i went to get the intercooler for mine, couldn't wait to get it on. it's the start of the dci modding that intercooler is, you'll just want to do more and more! let me know how you get on with the injectors anyway, see if they have more than 1 set! :-)

i don't know about cost but with regards to the injectors, if its the same sort of system, the coding shouldn't be that different, i know paul@rstuning can code injectors to cars so it might be worth asking him what sort settings he is able to change.
