It's painted grey it's not textured though. Ie it needs to be painted darker.

I never used to like the 18s but on Silver they look great, the black suits the 19s better for some weird reason.

Bilthamber is proper stuff but that needs more than rubbed down. My opinion? It's had work and if you lift the rubber seal it may tell you more. If that doesn't show anything then get the side skirt off.
