Wasn't personally involved but there were a string of unhappy people and he threw in the towel AFAIK, there was a big thread on it a little while back.
Very nice
Really must do something about selling mine, I know I should just keep it as they’re obviously on the same path as the E36 M3 but I feel I’ve ticked the M3 box now and fancy something else.
RAID is great, but it's not a backup and from what you're saying it doesn't sound like you have a backup?
Personally in your position I'd get an external hard drive, back everything up to that and keep it somewhere separate to your PC, for example in a drawer at work if you can. Then every...
Ignore me, I'm going blind in my old age. :D
(Although to be fair, I'd just scrolled down to the specs without reading the description and it just says "Hard Drive/Storage Capacity 1TB", that's my excuse and I'm sticking with it)
They've been around for a while, nothing special. A sub-brand of Lenovo making budget stuff. I imagine that'll feel pretty slow by comparison with a lot of other laptops with a 1Tb hard drive and no SSD.
If you really like them you can get PCD and hub bore adaptors, H&R do them if you don't fancy a no-name one. Not the cheapest fix, but maybe you could get the seller to pay half or something rather than going for a refund.
Bit off-topic I know, but new work laptop has arrived and I'm really pleased with it. Unless OSX is a big driver for you definitely check out the Dell XPS 15, it's not quite as nice as the MBP in terms of that "quality feel" but it's very, very close and the screen is incredible - 4k touchscreen...
They are so (relatively) cheap to get silly power out of.
Other thing is they're pretty light which obviously helps the PWR along nicely. I'd have one. In fact, I may have one :D
I'm playing D2 at the moment and loving it, was a big fan of the first one. What does bug me about both games (although I know it's part of their brilliance) is after a hard day at work I like to play them as a complete badass and just kill everything and anything that gets in my way. I know...
Silica.... Jesus I remember them!
I was never very patient so I remember one day in my late teens a new Amiga pack had just launched, I think it was the A500+ with some games, and I actually got on a coach from Liverpool to Leeds to go and buy one because they had stock and back then shipping...
Again, depends on your circumstances. AC is overkill for a lot of people as their broadband connection won't even come close to saturating an N connection. Sure, if you're doing a lot of big file transfers etc the extra speed can be welcome and the extra range can be too. Horses for courses...
Powerline stuff is great if your home wiring is suitable, I used to swear by them but they're a bit slow in the current place because the wiring runs are much longer than in previous houses I've been in. They still work fine, there's just a significant performance drop off.
I use a £15 Netgear...
£79 for a battery replacement at Apple

CEX just sell used stuff like anywhere else, they do some basic checks so safer than eBay etc but still it's pot luck if you get a well looked after phone or something that's been trashed.
If...
Not sure if this is the reason in the Clio sizes too but there were a lot of cheap ones around until recently, they changed the compound for 2017 and a lot of places were selling the 2016 compound off cheap - I got a set for the M3 for under £600 which was a blinding deal for those sizes.
Centre cap rattles are a common issue on those, it's been a while but if I remember right they're supposed to have little pads on them to stop 'em rattling but they often get taken off when refurbed or just through wear and tear. There'll be a fix over on the Alpina Register forums I'm sure...
I dunno, where it's been photographed suggests to me that the seller is in the trade or has connections to the trade, yet can't get the clutch changed? Even if not, how hard/time consuming is it to just dump it at a garage and say "change the clutch" if you're short of time? I get that if you're...
Nice job :)
Ref the weight, my megg'd 200 was near as damn it 1300kg, but that had a full safety devices cage and some extra bracing bolted in. On the flip side it had ultralaggera wheels which are a fair chunk lighter than standard but overall I'd guess yours should be a bit lighter than that.
