Painted the front end tonight; New belts, seals and filter and block painted;

Went down to help out on the Saxo tonight. First of all the manifold, turbo etc were all stripped from the engine leaving just the inlet on. The car'd had some nasty oil leaks so we brake cleanered it to death but will probably paint the block before it goes back in the car. Pre clean up...

Well, I've gone past the point of no return and sold my carpet and steering wheel for the Rallye. I guess it will be staying as a stripped out slag for a while!

No, it's pretty clean. It's discoloured in the bay but not rusty. Should look mint when it's all painted up.

Engines out and the bay will be getting a lick of paint before it goes back in.

Wind deflectors will be coming off.

Had a tinker tonight with mark from French sport tuning. Engine will probably be coming out to be re sealed tomorrow and we'll see where we go from there!

It's about level. Still pretty slammed but might come up when I take the sub, amp and 6 x 9s out!

New rims are on;

It's not too bad, brakes, oil and plugs, new wipers, sort out temp gauge, drop links, new wheels and check for any other potential suspension problems. Usual s**t. Not silver but literally brand new with almost new tyres - £115! Project de chav starts in earnest tomorrow.
