    id wash it, then go to work on it with some tar remover, shall remove most o the black stuff, then see how you feel about it then. mine has a crack, cant really notice it as its never that clean to do so.

    How about.. Remove the supply to the buld, put this to a relay to energise it. Then from 'the battery - inline fuse - light' to supply it. Short term mod, can ty-wrap the cable / loom into place, then review it in 6months etc. Thinking.. 20amp relay, not alot of cable, few crimps, and...

    My 172 Cup has been STOLEN.

    on the positive side, if they were to steal the 182 from me. i would rather them break in and steal the keys when i am out, that whilst i am in my sleep. We have 2 small children in the house, and last thing we need is armed people running about the house demanding car keys.
