Another update on the Note 4 battery and running. Still smooth, battery goes unoticed never failed within the day before.
Very impressed with everything so far. Now running 64gb Inc the SD card.
Hard facts! You have no idea how the garage's contract was constructed!
You can't just go pricing up bloody second hand parts and maybe repairing some bits etc before you even send the estimate to the insurance company! That's not how the real world works.
With the Frp it would be daily, usually customers coming in to work. Petrol stations. Had a guy and his Dad wait by the car once when I was in McDonalds to ask about it.
I miss having one, a lot!
You realise how utterly ridiculous that sounds? Why would a garage inflate the price of a job and it end up a total loss for which they'll receive £75?
I've never bothered. It's not expensive enough to worry but durability will increase on bare paint.
I've used it over everything. Cleansers, glazes, waxes, Z2. Never had any hassle. Infact I had a guy on here tell me it lasted 6 months going straight to it after LP.
I just do what I fancy...
Yeah I noticed the glass jar. And I know that they're hardly competing at the price point of Definitive for example.
I dunno. I love Lusso, maybe because they're kinda cult. Their wax was different but still well priced, it, to me had something different, they only had like 4-5 products then...
I use 2 layers of SF, one to loosen dirt as I think a lot of pre washes are detrimental to LSPs. After a good PW off I then coat again for the 2BM. Adds so much more slickness to the washing part, have been doing this for a long time now.
I'll then SF again if de-tarring as you must rewash...
PH is definitely for certain cars. Frp, Trophy, V6, DC5, FRS etc etc. You wouldn't go on PH to look for a 1.4 mk4 Golf, Gumtree material.
I like Gumtree mostly due to the volume of cars!
Hmmmm, it just doesn't get me excited. Why would I buy that wax over something else of similar cost?
At least definite had some awesome packaging and some class about it, etched glass etc, even if the start waxes were just stuff from a liquidated company they took over from!
Sometimes you're better studying old detailing studio posts by proper detailers. PB, SLR Nick etc, watch what they do and read read read and research every product. I understood what the idea was before I bought my first pot of 476s! Research is my best advice for any one looking to take up...
Steady on JD! You grumpy this morning? Someone piss in your Churchill Pol last night?
Good job Jamie. The claying is a pretty big issue though as per JD's comments. It's one of the worst things for inflicting damage.
Sorry haven't got back to you mate. Ironically it's been a hectic week!
Graham seems to have things half covered.
In regards to the 100% thing, one of my main insurance companies will happily repair to high percentages, they get to keep a policyholder and the guy gets to keep his car. Mostly...
No probs. Discount code is at the top of the page in the sticky section iirc.
Lawro can coat is now on version 3 so all cans should now be fixed. ... should be!
I think IX still holds the crown but Korrossol is superb. Really hard to look past at the coat although with CarPro discount it's a bit more normal like the other fallout removers.
Jamie would be a pleasure mate. You bought some decent products. Wear a good mask and gloves with cancoat please...
