    wheel spin

You seem to like to blow things out of proportion. Not once did I imply that you would crash and burn. So what's laughable is you even mentioning that. Pretty childish to be honest. All I said was, you should buy the best tyres you can afford. That is STILL the case. That doesn't mean you...

    wheel spin

No because that would be more dangerous. Restricts your vision and hearing to some extent! Nothing to do with the comparison of putting premium or budget tyres on your car though, so absolutely no idea why you've piped up like that!

    wheel spin

ALWAYS buy the best tyres you can afford. They are the only contact patch to the road. Really don't understand when people put s**t brands or cheap budgets on a reasonably fast car. OP, if you are really struggling for grip, then go for a good branded tyre. Especially important in this...

    help please

Of course they will. The bolt spacing and centre bore is the same. The only difference is they will stick out a bit further because of the lower offset.

    Trophy 299 New owner

Nice purchase. Desperately needs a cup spoiler and some Turinis though. What engine mods has it got to be running that power? That's upgraded cams, RS2 manifold territory.

    Latest addition ITB'd Trophy

How comes you were able to get it back? Seems mental that the previous owner took it off you, spunked some money on it, then sold it back to you lol!! Lovely car though.

Yeah I think the fog surrounds need to be kept. Looks blatantly s**t with them all out (unless you have brake ducts), like the bumper has been cut up. Where as with the surrounds still in you get a little circular hole which looks like it could be brake cooling.

Still got your fog lights in!! Rip them out. And pics needed of the ends of your splitter where you trimmed :)

I think it happens if you move the picture from the folder it was uploaded from on Photobucket. So if you've uploaded them to PB and they are in a general folder. You then upload to here. If you then move the pictures on PB from the general folder to a new folder all the links stop working...

I've used that on some wheels. Isn't that just more of a sealant and not a restorer though? Would it do anything to the plastics to bring the colour back out like the Revive does.

That the AF stuff? I've got that and didn't seem to last long at all when I last used it. Maybe I'm not applying right. But was fully clean. Although I didn't buff it. Be hard to buff things like the fog surrounds and grills.

Where to get steel wheel centre caps?

I've got a pair for sale. Or maybe even 4, steel centre caps. No idea if they would fit your wheels though. They fit over an OZ F1 though. And are black metal. Let me know via pm if they could be any use to you.

Primary bonnet catch problem 182 2005 model

Mine was replaced free of charge by Renault. I thought they were all being done under a recall. I've never actually looked at the mech to know what would need removing to get to it.

    Ran over a hare today

I once saw what I thought was a leaf in the road. On approach I noticed it was a small bird. Then it tried to fly away when it noticed me coming up fast, all happened too quickly. Heard it bashing under the car and when I stopped I had blood all over my rear wheel. No pics though unfortunately.

What tyres do you run on track?

I've got two Federal RSR for sale. Not sure if they are road legal but still plenty left for track wheels. £80 collected from Surrey for the pair.

    300bhp N/A

What are the differences between the the 197 and 1*2 engine. Apart from the obvious inlet manifold. Both being an F4R do they share internals? I know the 197 crank is lighter, but that's all I know.
