Look behind the panel with the headlight adjuster to see if you have the extra wiring, if you have an early car, as well as headlight adjustment you will have a dimmer switch on this panel, a newer car will just have the headlight adjustment but should have the wiring for the dimmer. You are...
My mate does this and TBH the general car driving public is that f**king oblivious to safety that he has enough on his plate without trying to make up failures with the amount of tyre cord, pads down to the metal and snapped springs he comes across on a daily basis
that's had a whack at the front end and had a new cross member cut and welded in where its rusting by the looks of it. the 182 I re shelled into my van had the same idea but a hell of a lot more and that's why I scrapped it.
that's all fixable at the sill etc, its just getting someone you can...
Evening guys,
Not a Clio but a Kangoo, Ive got a 2018 Kangoo im looking at retro fitting the Renault R-link into for android auto.
From hours scouring foreign eBay I can see that I think I need 3x parts:
Screen (part no 2591 567 61R)
Head unit (part no 2811 530 06R)
Control box I believe this...
Love the van, keep your eyes on the scrappy for the rear floor and bulkhead they finish it off nicely! I've got the full length parcel shelf too which makes it a lot quieter to drive, although doubt it will be quite as refined now with 180hp lol
As bright says, years ago I had one that wouldn't start, was giving errors of glow plug relay, I changed the relay, changed the plugs, changed the wiring, no better and it was an injector. It had took me down the wrong path!
Do a leak off test, remove the return from all injectors and collect them into 4 cups, usually if one is faulty it will be apparent by the different amount of fuel in that cup
Unfortunately it's all to common on these engines for garages to start throwing parts at them if they lack the experience in fault finding on them.
I had a look at one a few months back, leakoff test showed one injector was pumped and another on its way out, drained the fuel filter, metal swarf...
Just a bump for this, ive been pulling my hair out!
so left the DCI rack in place, its not been removed. Fitted brand new genuine Renault inner track rods and rod ends both from a 182.
if I centre the rack, the steering wheel is way out from centred, if I centre it either clockwise or anti...
More progress today!
The rear bumper has always had a crack and missing arch liner etc since I had it
So I set about swapping it with the doner car I bought for its bumpers
Removed the bumper from the 2004 and the brackets behind it were rotten!...
Dreaded to think what I'd find behind my...
As above there is a flexible bit and s clamp but I didn't touch it and removed the filler as it's only a 30 sec job and s good time to clean behind it etc
Gave the van a wash, just waiting on an exhaust arriving and its ready for an MOT!
Hoping emissions shouldn't be an issue since diesels just get a smoke test...… 👹
