id say so..... never go above 95, they will only do u big time if you are doing 25mph over the limit. otherwise it will just be a £30 or £60 and some points!
my mates got 11 points and just been caught....
to cut a long story short i got an amp and when i wired it up it just flashes protect all the time. and i can occasionally hear a little bit of noise through the amp. im certain its all wired up ok!
iv got a samba cat 2 immobilisor and clifford solaris alarm. immob easy to use just touch it with the little fob and the alarm is great. neva goes off unless tampered with, and if anyone knocks it or similar it will go off! oh and has remote engine start too :)
i used to all the time and changed back to normal once and noticed a difference, then a few weeks later back on optimax and more responsive.
now use it one in every three instead. or BP Super
When i had a knackered thermo it was hardly above 80. Changed it and it was about 100 most of the time. Now i had engine fully rebuilt, with a few extras chucked in and its quite high!. runs absolutely spot on though! (touch wood)
Good work fella, so the solar gold looks like the right match then, cant remember who told me off here but cheers! think ill bring mine round and you can do them as well mate. ill buy you a pint! ;)
get ringing the scrappies mate, but be warned i rang over 70 with none! finally found one but when its gonna be delivered i will neva know. 3 weeks late now!
mines about the same. when mi thermostat was shagged for a few weeks it neva went over 80. now its up to 110 on the motorway. need to fit the low temp thermo i think!
there should be a rubber grommet thing at the left hand side of the engine bay. bit tricky and u will need some wire or something to feed the cables through with....
get the R5 GTT uprated clutch. Its £60 in vat, and rated to 200bhp.
iv got one and its bloody good. takes a bit of getting used to, bit on and off for a few months but spot on now, and get the power down no problems!
yer i tried for hours to get it to fit the other way, and gave up (for now) i need a new bit of ducting from the TB to the filter before I can play anymore as mine is about falling to bits....
The air is more restricted where I have mine now and i dont have a cold air feed going inot it yet...
