    Vibrations

Ruling out clutch/dmf issues and sticky calipers. Just went for a drive and temps seem the same on both sides and as the vibration isn't rpm dependant it shouldn't be clutch related. When you get to 50 you can start hearing the almost stone in the tyre noise then get to 70 and vibrations start...

    Vibrations

I would hate it if the calipers are not working correctly as that would take the car out of action whilst they would be rebuilt etc. The discs are dimpled and grooved so its a possibility. Need to take the car apart on the weekend and just inspect it all, hopefully it's something cheap and simple.

    Vibrations

Yer i will give it a try, i have noticed that i do have a rotational noise, almost like a stone in the tyre kind of thing. I think for discs it would be mainly felt through braking rather than just cruising at speed. Maybe the wheels are no good. When the balancing was done they said the worst...

    Vibrations

Not related to a Clio, but my Civic has bad vibrations at motorway speeds. It's not just the steering wheel, you can feel it through the whole car. I had a brake upgrade fitted around 2 weeks ago, but before then i had a slight vibration starting to doubt myself tho. The brake upgrade included...

    BMW 535d

The engine service intervals are long, but I dont really think it comes down to that. It's just a fundamental design flaw with the tensioner.

Give it time. Not a case of if, it's a case of when.

Just had the alignment and balancing done, both were out. Alignment is better now, although not perfect due to probably 100k suspension. Vibration wise it's still there so going to replace the pads and the discs and hopefully that sorts it otherwise i'm lost.

Well you can buy the strips i would imagine then its just a bit of wiring. I'm sure the Guru would be able to assist.

    Austin’s Clio dci 100 Initiale

@Austin-182 knock sounds like its the ARB bushes/links should be fairly easy to sort out. If the you change the D bushes yourself they are a bit of a nightmare!

    Power steering

First check would be to remove the reservoir and check for cracks/damage. Also check the lines as they are common to fail. After that could be the pump itself. Would be better in the long run to convert to EPAS.

Instead of a strip, fit some "ambient" lighting that you can change the color, would give it a nice glow and match the more modern cars.

Got a lot of wheel vibration at motorway speeds, going to get the balancing checked at lunch and hopefully an alignment. Driving me crazy as it going out of alignment pretty much monthly!! I hope it is just the wheel balancing as it was there before, but it was a lot less. Maybe the extra weight...
