Usually when you fit a decat and the light comes on it's a constant light not flashing and doesn't affect performance. Sounds to me like the lights flashing for a different reason. I've certainly never heard of it putting your car into limp mode.

You must have been doing it wrong if it marred your paintwork 😜 keep it well lubricated and you can't go wrong. So much easier than messing about with a tiny bit of clay that you will inevitably drop on the floor at some stage 😉

@AndyPembs182 . If you want ease of use, try a farcella G3 clay mitt. Piece of piss to use, takes no time at all to clay your car. Use it after you've washed your car , keep the paintwork wet and there's no chance of marring the paintwork . I know the cleaning gurus will be screaming nooooooo.o_O

I think, from what I've read that different models have the nipple on different sides . I'd be looking at why yours on the offside doesn't work rather trying to change sides . Like I said there could be a break in the wire.

Don't know about your 1.2 expression but on my 182 there is only 1 nipple and it's under the passenger side wing mirror. Maybe you have a break in the wire?

It might help if you say what model 2009 car you have. When the heater resistor pack gave up on my 182 i had no speed control of the fan , it was either on or off. You can get them off eBay for about 12 quid. I'm assuming your car will have a similar resistor pack. As for your air con I haven't...

Had a few MOT fails and lots of advisories. A few mentioning high emissions and 1 engine management light. Doesn't sound like a cared for example in my opinion.

I doubt dealers will have them now and if they do they'll probably cost an arm and a leg. Why not put a post in the wanted section.

Ahh I see. You're right . For some reason the Sachs dampers does say 52mm on Autodoc and onlinecarparts. Maybe it's worth contacting them to see if there is an error in their advert.

Caliper off , BIG hammer , that'll sort it. The spacer washer should be between the hub and brake disc itself , flat face towards the car.

I ran 32 on the fronts in very wet conditions for the first few days and was impressed. I dropped down to 30 yesterday and only done about 10 miles but in dry weather, feels like there is plenty of grip. I'm definitely happy I opted for the Avons after years of using the Rainsports.
