    Rojer's 182

Hmm not very happy with that. The price you pay for one of their systems you expect it to fit out the box no issues. I don't appreciate having to cut or modify the pipe to get it to fit. The whole reason why i bought the KTR kit was to make my life easier. I will wait and see what they come back...

    Rojer's 182

Cheers Mark, means a lot. @182_steve @Louis' I have received my induction kit today and the fitment is shocking. I was rushing to try and fit it in my lunch break, but im going to have to remove it and try again at the weekend. The piece of pipe that joins to the throttle seems way too long...

    Rojer's 182

It was a very good decision, I am very happy with it. I would love to see that 106 on the track must be a beast! I used the @Dr Jekyll method with a bucket of warm water, some Vanish Gold and washing up liquid. Pull the belt out as far as it will go and use a washing peg or a clamp etc to hold...

Fog light on when braking & dodgy battery

The battery drain could be the alternator, get a multi meter out and test it :)

    Positive effects of Polybushing?

Do you use the car on the track? If not then I wouldn't go mad with wishbones etc. Only things i would polybush would be the dog bone, ARB, steering rack and maybe the rear axle. Otherwise as a daily it's just a bit much this is all IMO of cause.

    Terraclean??

Tbh the best outcomes i have seen are on diesel's, not sure why as its a more efficient engine therefore it should have less carbon build up etc.

Lol that's weird was it a good CAT? I have never decatted a car and it was quitter haha. I believe the Febi are OEM Renault anyways and for £37 all in compared to £110 for one it makes sense.

    Rojer's 182

I kept the CAT for a few reasons, when searching on here people were saying the 182 CAT is like a sports one anyway, plus with the derestrictor welded on its a lot better. Also i do 110 miles a day mostly on the motorway so didn't want any drone or anything. The noise is slowly getting a bit...

Thanks, it wasn't done by me (i wish). It was Chris at Beaniesport. I have ordered my intake today and some nice PS3s all round can't wait to see what the difference is on those compared to Jinyus haha. Getting them fitted on Saturday :)

    Terraclean??

My dad had it done on his VW Crafter and it did make a difference in running and economy. Problem with direct injection engines is the inlet gets clogged up pretty quickly and TerraClean still won't clean that, have to get it wallnut blasted or something similar.

Nothing that exciting today, woke up and decided to clean the belts for work as it was long overdue! Going to order my intake today :) and think about a PMS shifter....

182 Starting & running issues. Ticking from the middle of the head

Check the TDC sensor. When the car runs if you wiggle the wires around for it and it cuts out that's your problem.

    Rojer's 182

Continues... So as you can see Chris did a great job and the PMS exhaust system is lovely extremely good quality. Only think i might change is to go for the 3.5 inch tips to fill the bumper a bit better. The sound just has a bit more depth to it at low revs and sounds nice at high revs...

    Rojer's 182

Today was a fun day! I have been all excited because my exhaust arrived, i had the car booked in with Beaniesport for fitting. I must say Chris is a great guy loves to have a chat with you, very knowledgeable with great workmanship. I would highly recommend and will use again for sure. When i...

    Rojer's 182

I'm not sure if i'm bored of it, i just want a bit more response from down low really and a bit more torque. I think the cams with the other mods are relatively cheap way to get a little boost and then i can save for a turbo once i have changed the brakes, suspension and a load of other stuff...

    Rojer's 182

Not sure i catch what you mean, unless your saying the Clio needs a charger to keep up with the bike haha. Do you like my cams lol?
  19. R

    Rojer's 182

Yes Steve, probably faster than the Clio hahaha ;)
  20. R

    Rojer's 182

Well it should be relatively easy to fit them as far as i'm aware its a straight swap and just have to advance the timing by 8 degrees on one of the cams i think. @NorthloopCup is the man in the know i have been told. Hoping to gain around 10bhp, but more interested in the torque increase. With...

    Rojer's 182

This morning I woke up early to go and meet @mattsouthall to collect my cams. He was kind enough to meet me on his way to work and we had chat for a bit, thanks! When i get to work I should have my exhaust :)

    Rojer's 182

Your evil..... Anyway more exciting updates, I think i may have lost my mind slightly. Tomorrow I will be picking up some low mileage 197 cams :) and my exhaust will be delivered. Very excited, Chris is going to fit my mounts and exhaust on Saturday. I have since emailed Andy about the cams and...

    Rojer's 182

The price basically, also as ED had done the belts for it not long ago thought it would be best to ask them, not that I don't trust Chris. I'm excited to see how he gets on doing the exhaust and mounts and as he is close by i will probably use him for more jobs in the future.

    Sourcing belts kit- 182

I would definitely recommend doing the full kit. The dephaser wears making a noise and might as well change the water pump. Also might aswell do a full aux belt kit because if the aux belt snaps that can take the cambelt with it. The whole job including parts could be anywhere between £500-1k...

    Missfire under load

Best way to do it is plug in a code reader, they are relatively cheap at £25/30 each, but don't replace them before you have checked the plugs first and plugged it in.

    Missfire under load

    Sounds like injector then.
