Just got in the car and the cigarette lighter isn't working i.e. charger my phone and powering up my speed camera detector . Also the cd/radio isn't turning on and off with the ignition , i have to turn it on and off with the button on the headunit . Nothings been changed or fiddled with , it's...
My Yozza + decat is loud , fcukin loud , even when tootling about lol . But i didn't buy it for that reason . I bought because i needed a new exhaust , Fred was selling some at a reasonable price a few years back so thats why i went for one , plus i like the tailpipes . So to the OP . If you...
I can only go off my own personal experience . I've had Continentals , they were ok , nothing special and i would only get about 7500 miles out of a set . Toyos T1-R's and T1-S's , they were absolutely rubbish in the wet , didn't instill any confidence when pushing on in the wet . Michelin...
All new tyres need scrubbing in . 100 miles is sufficient in my opinion . I got 12000 miles out of my last set Rainsports , compared to the Michelin PE2's that would only last about 8000 miles . One thing i did find is that running them at a slightly higher psi of 36 opposed to 32 psi that...
I always that Continental owned Uniroyal . Then i read somewhere that Michelin owns them . Just Checked and it turns out Continental own the European side of Uniroyal and Michelin own the US side of Uniroyal :S . Just goes to show that 2 of the top tyre manufacturers also think Uniroyal are a...
It fits length ways . You have to sort of bend / squash it a little bit to get it in , then once it's in it bends back to it's normal shape . Make sure you get it the right way round too , there are arrows on it showing the direction of airflow .
Received mine today , fcuk me is it bright , even in daylight . Pocket sized , 8 led , will definitely come in handy when working under the car . Thanks for the headsup Gally ;)
I think there is a point in getting it checked . I thought mine was ok until i had it checked and replaced . Now i realise it wasn't operating as it should . There are 2 letters sent out . One saying they'll check it and if they find a fault they'll replace it at cost to the owner and the other...
Ask yourself this . Are you having a problem ? If the answer is no , then i wouldn't bother . I'll bet 99.9% of people never change theirs . They're very expensive from what i heard . This is an old old post i know , from a guy ( edde ) who really knows his stuff about all things Renault ...
I think you'll find the scanners only give you the codes not the actual fault ,you have look the code up either in the book supplied or google it . Cheap OBDII scanners can be bought on ebay and can be useful reading and deleting fault codes . If you're getting lights pop up on the dash...
It's every 144,000 miles according to the service book , except for the Clio traffic and V6 which is every 72,000 . I was always led to believe it was in the tank .
I've used Fairy power spray donkeys years ago on Freds recommendation and it does work . Here's a blast from the past post . Read stevo740's review post #31 .

Does the light flash usually when you're going round a sweeping bend , say at speed ?If it does , check your brake fluid level , it might need topping up . This often than occurs more when you've got older discs and pads as the level of the fluid drops with wear . He just might not have put...
Get someone to help you ( watching how far the piston comes out ) , take the wheel and brake disc off . Push the brake pedal very gently so the piston almost pops right out , grease it then push it back in . If it does pop out it's a bugger to get back in lol . I had a caliper a bit like this on...
You can get a new blade cut , it's the fob itsef that costs , they need programming to the car . Try a new battery and see if it works . It's a CR1220 .
I had a problem with mine temperature gauge going haywire when i first bought my 182 new . Turned out it was just a dodgy connection on the coolant temp sensor . You have to take out the airbox to access the sensor , which is easy , then wriggle the wire a bit ( very technical eh lol ) that...
Yeah , you're right . But that was just for the servicing side of the car so your warranty wasn't affected . The anti corrosion warranty is a whole different thing though . As stated , it has to be carried out at the correct intervals by a Renault Network garage or your anti corrosion warranty...
