Re: someph-ing different...........
so i was going to go down and work on the car this morning,
fit the rear struts, fit the front camber bolts and cut the holes in the front arch liners for the brake ducts, however, i remember a long time ago (when i fitted the initial set of koni shocks...
second both of these....
thats a f*ck load of work, just removing all the bits and bobs inside is a long job....
awesome mate, expect a pm regarding the window shortly
so i thought i may bump this back up as i seem t finally have a fair bit of interest in the passat,
that means i have to start looking around asap...
clio or 306 then is it????
its not what you know mate.... and he isn't a magazine contact either....lol
no blagging for me anymore....
no mate not that i know of, probably my superb photographic skills with the perspective
i take it another phone call has been made and you are a step closer?
UPDATE:
so collected my shocks, and a nice shock came with it...
I spoke to a friend about getting new Koni rear shocks as my old ones (that come with the FK Konigsport suspension) blew just before our roadtrip last year...
collecting the new Koni rear shocks later tonight, may go and fit them tomorrow.
Can't go and collect the airbox / exhaust now this weekend so am unsure when this will happen with the new job, house move etc all in the near future,
hopefully we can still move the car to the bodyshop next weekend
Re: My Phase 1 ITB Daily Runner
don't do it....
after being around, and seeing lots of wrapped cars its not worth it...
if its not done by someone really good it will look sh*t
on another note it is extremely easy to mark, can peel and if your car is pretty not 100% factory paint you WILL...
Re: My Phase 1 ITB Daily Runner
um... not sure really, i have never really thought about other colours, i just saw that scirroco last year in off-road grey and really liked it, thought it would really suit the clio, the yellow etc etc
nah i am good, proper expensive colour too
thank you, got a price now, just waiting on the others to clarify....
possibly picking up a windscreen this weekend.
just ordered 2 brand new koni adjustable rear shocks (remember my last ones blew and i was on a borrowed set)
i really wanted to look into some proper nice suspension ie... KW or...
Re: My Phase 1 ITB Daily Runner
i think i agree actually...
its close between that, the trophy red, meg engined phase 1 and barron/bazzon's racing blue...
however not for long...mwwwaaahhhhhh..lol
great work on the doors, very interested in what you have lost from these....
hame on the interior, sure it will be fine
will be in contact shortly on the rear windows.
send what back mate? the windscreen? nah this was fitted last year prior to the road-trip, but it was immaculate.... just an excuse to spend even more money i spose
do you need it back? if so i can bring it up?
will call you back in a bit.
well naomi gave them what for this morning about it, to be told she was meant to be being shown around by the current tenants, they never even told her that ffs.....
anyways todays small update...
I went to the clio with the intention of a few things, i needed to prep the shell a little more...
