That's not a bad idea actually as would need less of a run of pipe! Thanks for the links :)
Thankkkkkks :star:
Re: James/BigAsh 182 Race Car by TDF... It doesn't get much better than this! *Pic He
Apparently there is a 13mm connection in the forge hoses further down so going to tee into that as it's the same size as the inlet! Jay I will need coolant refill advice when I get to it pretty please ;)
Re: James/BigAsh 182 Race Car by TDF... It doesn't get much better than this! *Pic He
Looks about right thanks mate :) Trust it to be different to the inlet for the heater lol!
Re: James/BigAsh 182 Race Car by TDF... It doesn't get much better than this! *Pic He
Does anyone know what the outlet diameter is from the coolant bottle? I would check if the car was here :(
Re: James/BigAsh 182 Race Car by TDF... It doesn't get much better than this! *Pic He
Perfect :) I will have a look when I get the car back and work out a plan of action! Added to my to-do list :D
Perfect well if I can make it I will be there at about 10ish but will have my little half brother with me and will only be able to stay a few hours but will still be good :)
Was trying to but heard from Sabelt today and they have shipped the new Taurus so couldn't swap to the Titan :( I guess...
Ahhh yes SWR that was it I knew I was confused! Fair enough and although it's a big hit at least you know it's all fresh for the new engine and you can then keep on top of maintaing it and hopefully it won't go bang again :)
I could not imagine running 2 cars :( I find it bad enough with one...
Re: James/BigAsh 182 Race Car by TDF... It doesn't get much better than this! *Pic He
That's very true actually yeah, It wasn't just the screen I couldn't see out of :( My concern when looking at them the other day is where do you pipe the water inlets to? THe cooling system of the car? Sorry...
Best of luck Colin, I am supposed to be busy on Saturday but I will see what I can do and will try pop up for a few hours if I can! What time is kick off? :)
I'm looking to do similar Hal but for different reasons, mine has got a load of play and slop in the gear change so by going cable would mean we could locate anywhere and have the reliability of the gearchange back. The only problem I have is I have to use the stock box for my series.
I guess...
Re: James/BigAsh 182 Race Car by TDF... It doesn't get much better than this! *Pic He
Thanks for the link mate :) Don't worry about it I had remembered the name and worked out which I need so thank you! It's on my list if I have to go down that route, I am hopeful that the screen will be...
Was great to see the the car the other day at Llandow would of been to have a look round but I don't know where the day went! Sorry to hear about your gearbox issues, they certainly aren't the cheapest thing to rebuild are they :( Where have you sent it? Is it Mardi-Gras that do these? Good luck...
Re: James/BigAsh 182 Race Car by TDF... It doesn't get much better than this! *Pic He
Yes Andy was great to meet you again :) Thanks mate! Yes I just got off the phone about that actually, It's not going to be sorted in time for Anglesey so will take plenty of Anti-mist with my new method of...
I think you might be onto something actually because last time I was fiddling that did seem to be the location of the play! I will update when I have fiddled next week :)
Sounds like a plan mate :)!
No unfortunately not :( you're right though it was designed to be but it was too much of a compromise unfortunately, It did one trip into Leeds and that was it! I could always trailer it to one lol!
Nice to see updates on this Mike :) Really wish I hadn't seen the picture of that food though I'm already starving! Shame about the sachs but I bet it will be transformed after :) We need to organise another Yorkshire karting session soon was a good laugh!
Re: James/BigAsh 182 Race Car by TDF... It doesn't get much better than this! *Pic He

Ohh dear mate thats not good :( Doesn't sound like a bad idea! What class would you be at Harewood? Same as me or Colin?
How would you be finishing if you were in the other class? Yeah I can imagine its a...

Hi Mark, I know the one on the top left of the engine bay is a vibratech one but i'm not sure about the rest. I can ask Matt though if you want? :)

28th, 29th, 30th of this month mate :) How did you get on?
You should do it mate! It looks awesome and I can't wait to try it :)
Re: James/BigAsh 182 Race Car by TDF... It doesn't get much better than this! *Pic He
Yeah I will have a proper look when I get the car back :) I'm going to try refreshing the front end of the linkage and see if that gets rid of some of the slop. Thanks yeah I will probably do that!
Thanks...
That's true Mark, I did think that yes. We are still to get to that stage of tweaking with the verniers mine is lacking low down at the moment and am unsure how much we can get back by tweaking it.
Haha I thought the same last year when I saw mine they are an awesome looking bit of kit! Can't...
I wouldn't buy it just for the fact they have fitted a crap tyre to a decent car, if they don't want to spend an extra £30 to get a decent tyre what else have they skimped on? I would just keep looking if I were you :)
