been away up-norf the past few days.
just prior to this i made a bracket for my front plate, it screwed into an existing plate hole but then went to one side (passenger)...was ok for 3 days then as passing back through the centre of brum today a crosser (of a crossing) pointed at my plate and...

so visited rs fabrications today to speak about the airbox, but had a good look around also....
didn't know they were a fan of the passat also....great stance.
and then found this AE86 inside, amazing amount of...
i visited my friends at RS Fabrications today, and this was in there workshop, the work and the quality of said work that has gone into this is truly amazing, spent a good amount of time looking over it....amazed

mine is not my everyday car....so thats not the issue....
am unsure on the pikey spec rack.... is there no standard manual rack that is not more turns lock to lock?

nah it doesn't bother me that much...
i am trying to work out (if i chose to do it this way) were i can brace the airbox from on the block...

cool man, i have also posted this in media to get wider opinions, i am looking at mounting something of the block so need to know whats avaliable where...
i am still running the PAS but i am on a cup alternator set-up now

do you know what bolt holes are used and which are not off the top of your head?
I am looking for images of the front face of a 172 block (the face poitning the same way as the headlights), this is for research purposes so possibly a stripped down block is best
