Even with the RS panels, they're not really all that conspicuous?? I'd just debadge your Clio and get it sprayed black. Wont cost you a huge amount to make it quick if you're smart with the mods you make.

I will be getting some buckets in the long run... Got a few things to do before I have money to spare for those though. Saying that, it depends on how much I can get some Bimarco buckets for. I'm in the process of fabricating some seat runners and subframes, want to get these done before I buy...

But none of these are really worth selling a Clio for are they??? Easier just to do a bit of work on the Clio?

Does anybody know how much lighter the cup seats are than the half leather? I want to buy a new interior but don't want to add loads of weight.

That depends what class you're competeing in.....

A friend of mine went and bought a CTR a few weeks ago and the guy at the garage told us that 'the turbo kicks in at about 5,500' i just laughed in his face.... couldn't hold it in.

"all electrics and comfortable" Hmmmmmmm.....

There's not a whole lot that ticks all of those boxes better than a Clio.... Not that I can think of anyway....

The car looks awesome mate.... You've done a good job there. Wheels, definitely green! Would look incredible with some green detailing. If you're not feeling like the lairy colour scheme, then you have 1 vote for the anthracite.

I wouldn't imagine it would stay on terribly well? The bonding surface won't be great and it's going to be pretty high wear.... But as you said, nothing to lose really so give it a bash.

Just bought my 172 cup last week.... Standard car except a K-tec stealth system, 68,000mls, excellent condition and good service history. I thought I might start the progress thread now, just because I'm bored really! I've tried to start as I mean to go on with it, so I've booked...

I've had a look, and it doesn't visibly look broken, but I'm running out of ideas so I think I'll get the k-tec uprated ones anyway.

Oh yeah..... :S Maybe it's the guy I've trapped in the boot....

Haven't checked those.... will do tomorrow. It has a k-tec stealth system so i guess the increased pipe diameter makes it prone to knocking too.

Forgot to add.... I've checked the engine and gearbox mounts.... it's neither of these.

I would suggest it's either gearbox or engine mounts.....

Morning everyone, Just a quick question, I've just got my 172 cup, and it's making a knocking noise... It only happens at high rpm in 1st and 2nd gear, but on all road surfaces, cornering or straight. It sounds like an exhaust knocking, but it's difficult to tell where it's coming from when...

There's only 2 or 3 around my area as far as i know.... don't see them often at all. And, as said, much less common than CTR's and ST's.... around here at least.
