    my car is Import :(

I see this one about imports has raised its ugly head yet AGAIN . As said above . They aren't imports in the sense as Jap imports , they are a whole different kettle of fish . They are the same cars made in the same factory but without a Renault alarm , locking wheel nuts and earlier models...

Halfords Iceberg Silver touch up paint kit

Yeah . From the dealers . But like i said . I'd go for an aerosol mixed up at car parts place . It costs the same but you'll get 400ml and not an 18ml touch up paint so you'll have plenty of paint to play with . Imo with the touch up sticks the paint is a little too thick .

Halfords Iceberg Silver touch up paint kit

Just get the Renault touch up paint . It comes with a small lacquer as well ( not that you'll use that ). They are about 7 quid . Personally though i'd get an aerosol mixed up , spray a bit in the lid and use a c0cktail stick . http://www.guidetodetailing.com/articles.php?articleId=27

    Fair price?

If you don't ask , you don't get . The seller can only say no . Most people price cars higher than what they want for the car so there's room for negotiation . The buyer gets the price down a few hundred quid , the seller gets what he really wanted for the car , everybodys happy . Its psychology .

    Fair price?

Its only 7 miles from as well ;) Like Christopher says . Try and get the price dow a few hundred quid and ask the seller whats the story with the badges the wrong way round . It could be accident damaged and the bodyshop fitted them wrong . Ask about service history and proof of the...

    Which Karcher?

Personally if i was buying one and could wait a while i'd go for the one that they get in Aldi every couple of months . It's a Karcher but rebranded under a different name for Aldi . It was £75 last time they had one in . It's got a higher pressure and flowrate than the ones you've mentioned on...

    Water in wheel well?

Check under your back seat as well . My 172 used to get it in both the wheel well and under the back seat . I heard it was from the rubber grommets in the tailgate . I was gonna fix it but sold it before i got the chance to . Take em out , silicone sealant in the holes then pop the...

supposed to be collecting the f1 today !

I doubt that very much . Can you imagine the time and money involved if every engine was bench tested before fitting to every car built ?

supposed to be collecting the f1 today !

You'll get lots of different opinions . Personally when i bought my 172 and 182 i didn't thrash em , but didn't drive em like a grandad either . Limited it to around 90mph for the first 500 miles then after that drove em both normally . Both cars never missed a beat . I was actually told by...

Bring it Black bring it black for me...LOL

I use wd40 on black trim when white bits start appearing . Works as good as any of these so called " trim restorers " is very durable and being an oil repels water well . Spray it on an old cloth and rub it in , buff off any excess .

    Whats best for alcantara/suede ?

I used a very weak solution of Megs APC on a stain . Sprayed it on , left to dwell for a couple of minutes then wiped off with a damp microfibre cloth . Job done , stain gone :) I'm assuming you could use AG interior shampoo as thats dilutable and not as strong as the megs , i just didn't...
