Echoing what others have said. Tuition and track time is certainly one place to spend money. Parts wise, I'd start with the brakes, and mod as you progress and you feel is required. Make sure the car is fit for purpose and serviced etc.

Rs6 is one hell of a shout. Guy I know has one of those maserati's. They certainly look the part. I've never given one any stick to really know.

For me, it'd be the 200. The 197 looks very dated now IMO.

I had a go with a new fiesta St when I still had my 200. There wasn't much in it but I edged it.

Fairly easy job to connect some donkey dick up to the fog surround and direct it at the brakes if you decided to.

The box on my 200 didn't break. But it didn't like being changed up or down quickly at all. Especially in 3rd.
