Ouch, Thats unfortunate!
I'd do MK3 engine into it, Good for upto 400bhp and will run happily at 360ish on a 20t, Think you have to sort the Feeling out on the MK2 though as the stock system can't cope with that power. A couple of my mates have the MK2 engine in their track spec ones with a...
Why so?
IME id rather the BC's over the Bilsteins. The B14s i ran for a bit on mine really weren't that impressive. If anything the stock setup was better damped.
Im enjoying this a bit more, Its just more polished than the previous game. FFB is kinda ok on a wheel now as well, Certainly better than previous attempts.
Still don't get the dry/wet grip thing though. Genuinely other than slow speed understeer and it being easier to lock up theres no...
That's still not the sort of budget I was hoping for haha.
My current t TV is a 8 or 9 year old Samsung unit so anything will be an upgrade on that haha.
Nothing at the lower end worth a look
Is there such a thing as a decent "budget" 4k TV?
Only really used for gaming and the odd TV show/movie so doesn't have to cost thousands nor does it have to be massive.
I caved in and got it last week as well. Still not sure whats so great about it over the previous games.
Most annoying feature is not being able to jump straight into a test drive from the tuning/upgrade menu, Not to mention the ridiculous loading times.
Don't get the car tier thing either...
Suction mount on the PAX window gives a great view imo, Gonna look into a more permanent solution once i get the cage in though but would still like a similar view
Update time I guess.
Had a few bits needing doing before Spa a couple weeks back, mainly maintenence stuff really.
Had new front calipers fitted along with some plain Brembo discs and some RST3 up front with some RS44s on the back, couple with Ti shims and Endless fluid im properly chuffed...
Race director is a c**t [emoji23][emoji23]
Can't even take the actual lines that you would/should in real life without getting times deleted, I got down to a 51.4 but that's as quick as I'll go now seeing as I'm away to Ring/Spa now and it will be done when I'm home. Poor me
Is that similar to the TX wheel?
I had to tweak the settings to get it feeling good, Got it at a good place but could probably be improved even more.
Also, anyone else ran the Knockhill community challenge? That caterham is a right handful! Currently on a 51.79 but recon i can get into the...
I'd definitely have a manual over the auto box if they were available here, Due to the cost of them when they go wrong.
A mate had a properly clean and well looked after red saloon, Box shat itself and locked it into R on its 2nd or 3rd time out after he bought it. Gutted as it was a cracking...
I managed to play this on a mates PC today, Wow. What a difference in terms of graphics compared to my own XO version.
Id definitely say that the Xbox one is at its limits trying to run this, It looks no different to the first one really and actually seems to struggle at times, Been a few slow...
No Fuel at KH, Couple of options for fuel along the road either way which is also handy for cooling the car down en route.
Always plenty people around with various tools etc. I tend to just take the basics these days, IE Buzz gun, Torque wrench, socket set. If i need anything more than that...
It's good, properly good. Few bugs on the Xbox version mind you.
Clio cup cars are still a right bundle of laughs, but you can actually catch the oversteer now a bit easier
Nowhere near as mad as it was, you can actually catch a slide/oversteer now with spearing into the armco.
It's definitely a good improvement over the first that's for sure!
For sure, the tyre model is far better now, actually feel like your connected to the tarmac.
That's on my TX wheel, not played with any FFB settings yet as unlike the first one, it works out the box well enough
Everything was off, it really doesn't change that much. The traction under wot is silly in the wet
Actually, I may of had engine damage to be fair so don't think I had full power, still didn't notice a massive change in grip though
Not a shame at all, it's still very much aimed at the wheel user.
I'm quite annoyed bought it on the way home, only to get in and load it up to find a 12gb update already. Seeing as I have turnip Internet I may get to play it tomorrow, disappointed
