just got some new rear disks so i will need to have some bearings pressed into them, can i use the old bearings and just repress them, also does anyone have a guide for doing all of this?

i was mearly sharing my opinion....with regards to letting you get on with it, i can't stop you.....lol and in the unlikely event you are travelling behind me or coming the opposite way i will result to either putting my headlights on full beam or turning on my rear fog lights........these...

i live in the countryside......lol...believe it or not most of our country roads / back lanes don't have street lighting, if you think that having fog lights on helps illuminate objects / animals or anything else you may hit by the edge of the road you would be correct...but as fog lights...

generally i agree with you.... but not here as i am a hater of this and i don't sit in mc'd's again i usually agree with you, but fogs giving more light for general driving is complete tosh as this man says fog lights are used generally by chav's who think it looks sporty or old people...

chap, if you are seriously thinking about a mark 4 golf speak to Ads_172 on here, he sold his phase 1 for a golf, then sold that for a cup again... he will be able to give you both opinions,

but only a few months ago they were going for nothing, i wouldn't contemplate selling mine now because i know i wouldn't get what i see as good money for it.

looks like i may go jap then......and possibly relocate to the boot, i am guessing though it would be loosing charge due to the alternator? if thats the case i may need to look into a new one of those.

i have done this and it hasn't been working....lol

dj - do you think you could be accidentally earthing somewhere in your connection now its moved to the rear.... i was thinking if it was the battery or the alternator not giving it charge the performance mods i can gain from this
