Re: 'Cub's Trackday Flamer - Cage etc'
Right. So without me spaming your thread to much Cub, whats the pros and cons between the Gripper and the Quaife?
How much looking after/maintence does the Gripper need?
Why a Gripper over the Quaife?
I feel left out. :(
Ive got the same bushes, put a drop of loctite on before fitting.
Then had them power coated with no problems.
The old style of bush needed to be welded into place.
These one's won't move.
Drop the sub frame.
Remove cylinder head or take the engine out.
If you're paying someone to drop the sub frame then the ganes had is not worth the expense.
Im fitting a 182 manifold to mine but the head is coming off to be ported along with 421's and a de-cat.
I'll be at Bedford with Sunglasses_Ron, his tracking his 182 for the 1st time.
I saw a quick flash of your car at CSS, hope you're journey to Bedford is better than it was to CSS. :)
Ive just had a few bits done.
Got the gearbox mount done in sliver and the bits around the ECU in black.
There is also the alloy bits around the PAS pump that i will be getting done on mine when the head comes off.
I used Vulcan in Basildon.
My inlets/cam cover will be painted by Chris @...
