lol @ the conspiracy that Renault made it w**k to phase it out!!
if they wanted to "phase it out" they would just stop making it! didn't see them making a shite version of the v6 to phase it out!
imagine how much development money has gone into this car regardless of how crap it is, the new...
admit defeat Renault, stick a 6 speed manual in it, hell even the old 197/200 box that everyone loves to moan about, stick a diff in it, drop it 15mm, give it a 15% power boost, 20% torque boost, give it recaros that we all have to teach our birds how to get in and out without rubbing the side...
Ive used one various times over the years, i find the easiest way these days is just to buy one brand new, henk emails you the map for your car and then punt it on, or keep it for fault reading.
sure its only about 30 quid for the module to unlock the obd code reader to any obd car so you can...
Agreed, I think the best bet is what I done with my Flame Red 172, buy a shed as long as its straight and spend a chunk on it rather than stressing and paying over the odds for what you think may be a minter

personally id just fit it anyway, declaring mods isn't something id be interested in lol

Anyone noticed virgin medias picture quality getting worse and worse recently? I thought it was just my connection as it happens on various TVs in my house on various boxes, even HD channels look terrible but ive noticed it at other people houses too, its like watching a poor internet stream...
I wouldn't consider a car that was needing a service as if someone didn't spend the money when it was due a service what else did they neglect? that's my way of looking at it
not sure if its been covered in here after your first question but when I had my clio 200 RR'd at 203bhp, it was on par with all my lightly modded 172s performance wise and my mates 350z would pull on me once we got into triple figures, his was an early one so I believe the lowest power output...
if its a 172 then that's definitely low and I would be looking at tyre pressures, check for sticking callipers, lambda sensor, thermostat and coolant temp sensor.
