Re: Krispy Kreme - Bristol Saturday 3rd March 7pm
I might come along to this Will. It would be good to catch up with you and Dan :)
+1
Area Rep is rubbish not putting a proper address in the OP ;)
Fit some lowering springs and 172 wheels then leave it alone.
Why is your location "testosterone propionate"? Are you on steroids hence the aggression?
I like how a focused suspension setup is a positive in a 172 but a negative in a 200....
99% of the time you won't notice the difference so better off getting the better spec'd 172.
Nice video looks like you were going well :)I only change gear twice on a lap of Brands Indy, up to 4th on the pit straight then down into 3rd for Druids.
Unless you're looking for every last ounce of performance then I don't see why you would pick a 172 Cup over a 172.
The 172's leather seats, climate control, xenons, auto lights and auto wipers make it a much nicer place to be. Also you've got cruise control (on later models), 60:40 folding...
It's not that great a deal unless its in great condition and has a good service history of regular oil changes. It won't be that cheap once you've paid £250 for tax, £400 for a cambelt change, plus however much for the overheating issue. You could probably find a decent 172 with no faults for £1500.
