Totally agree , silvers not a bad colour , just after i bought mine 4.5 years ago it seemed like everybody was starting to buy a silver car , lol . It was one of the reasons i bought an arctic blue 182 cos they're not as common round here .
Tbh , i think all the colours in the rs range look...
I'd say its more to do with the amount of other silver cars on the road that they blend in more . Just stop and look how many other cars are silver , common as fcuk now .When i bought my first RS i chose silver with a little help from my mates advice , then it seemed that world and his dog was...
^^^^ I'm guessin when the guy told me the cars he viewed looked like they had been thrashed , it must have been more to do with appearance , if it looks like its been looked after then chances are its been cared for mechanically as well .
Tbh , your market is slightly more limited due to all the mods .Younger people wanting the sport model are being out priced with silly insurance , with your mods the insurance would be less attainable to alot of people .
If you could put it back to standard or as near as possible , sell the...

How easy / hard is it to remove the acoustic valve , is it easy to put back if needed ? Do you notice any difference when you hit 5k revs , do you still get the kick ??
Local motor accessory shops usually sell them probably cost twice as much as the individual pads but you get a big roll of it so you've plenty left for future use
Same here for me . I sold my import 172 similar age , mileage etc for the same as a UK model .
Nothing wrong with imports , your insurance isn't affected , obviously you need an alarm and if your the second owner i would imagine it already has one as i think you'll find it pretty hard to get...
Like loony says wet sand with 1500 grit wet n dry . Depending how thick you have applied the lacquer will depend whether you would need to relacquer it , but i would say just scratch x it afterwards and will come up smooth and shiny .
As Luke says , sounds like you've applied it too thick ...
^^^^ Its not a coating a such . The heat reflective coating is bonded to the glass when its still warm so its part of the glass as opposed to a coating . It won't wash or rub off .
You'll always pay alot more from a dealer mate . Check out autotrader , private sellers , never give what they want as there are loads to choose from . Its a buyers market and everybody over prices them cos they expect to be knocked down a few hundred quid ...
I had a power boost valve on my pug 306 s16 , it was shite , it fcuked up the engine management and put it into limp mode because it was over fuelling , and it was set up on a rolling road . I took it back and got a full refund .
Don't waste your time or money .
If i was you Trish i'd do...
