I can't say i've seen cold water freeze quicker tbh.
What is fact is that the warmer water doesn't posses the same gas content that colder water tends to. The gas in question lowers the temperature in which water will freeze for a start.
Good explanation can be found here...
Hot water freezes quicker than cold feller its called the Mpemba effect. So no. I know people who have cracked windscreens putting warm water on before.
I've owned 2 VTS's one blue & one recenelty sold in black.
Black one had a replacement gearbox under warranty. Other than that it was a good car. The Blue one was pretty modified & I had next to no issues with it bar a leaky rear window that again was sorted under warranty.
Easy to work on...
Won't notice much if any differences between the filters.
I'd stick to the FRAM OE jobby. I've got a K&N which I got new for free. Slightly better through the rev range & throttle response is ever so slightly improved.
I wouldn't pay the money tho.
Been offered a brand new k&n panel filter for my clio, never been used, is it worth having?
I know they make fek all difference in real terms, but it is free & surely better than the normal paper element?
What about Venom Motorsport? Or EuroPerformance, Pretty sure even Larkspeed stock H&R...
You could always speak to H&R direct & see if they'll ship it, they have a pretty big presence in America & Obviously are part of the Bilstein group..
