I'd stick with the self tappers myself . If you do come into contact with something hard enough to damage the splitter like a kerb at least it will only damage / rip off the splitter not the bumper , if its fastened on too securely , like with the bolts mentioned it might try and rip the bumper...
DVD -R or DVD+R can only be written on once .
DVD RW are rewriteable , they can be recorded on over and over , and the content erased .
I always use the DVD - R rather than the +R , look for good quality ones rather than cheaper ones . Something with the Ritek G05 or G06 dark purple dye ...
Had the same happen to me on my 172 after it was repaired after a slight mishap with a motorway crash barrier .
As Final Maxim says bad prep , that was the bodyshops opinion also , and it wasn't a backstreet garage , was the biggest and supposedly the best in Blackburn .
Nice job mate , looks good .
Get some of this stuff on your tyres , best stuff i've used yet .

Just give Renault UK customer services a ring mate . As soon as i got mine home thats all i did , they'll most likely want your VIN number and reg number , then they put the car on the system , only takes a couple of mins , they were very helpful with me .
Sorry mate your wrong with the years . Its 2 years manufacturers and 1 year dealership .
But you might be right with him having a problem if it wasn't registered with Renault UK when it was first bought .
Like ya say , they are all imports ,lol, all from the same Alpine factory .
And...
I'm on my second import . You get 3 years full warranty and 3 years AA assistance on imports unless the car was sourced from Holland or was destined for Cyprus .
The first two years is the manufacturers warranty covered by Renault , the third year is covered by the dealership .
Phone...
I was recommended Proclean by a guy who did a repair on my seat .

A couple of others around the north west . Don't know the quality of their work though .

The recommended interval for changing the air filter is 24,000 miles . Personally i'd change every 12,000 miles as part of the service , or better still buy one yourself or an itg panel filter and change it yourself . Only 2 mins of a job .
So how much are they charging you for the plugs Bobbo without the labour costs ?
Might be better off supplying the plugs yourself , save you a few quid .I think they are takin' the piss with the ordering from France bit , lol . They probably get em delivered from a local motor factor .
Your still under warranty , take it in to the dealership . Don't bother messing about with reconditioned calipers , whats the point of shelling out good money on a car so new that " should " be fixed for free . If they try and charge you , or your not happy phone Renault UK .
Tel . 08000...
Somebody needs to snap that up at that price . I was struggling in February to find a new 182 with cup packs , phoned loads of places all over the UK , finally found one about 15 mins from me , lol . Price on the road was £12,227
Think he's avin a laff if he expects £14,500
Old at 31 , lol , i don't think so ;) I guess your location will have brought the price down a fair bit . Get some more info on who ya got the quote off please .
Not sure , i think they do but they look like a right b**ch to get off , thats if they don't crack .
Don't know what you have , if its a 172 cup you won't need the abs rings anyway .
IIRC somebody posted that a pair of bearings are about £60 , correct me if somebody knows better .
If...
Don't forget you will need new wheel bearings in the rears and abs rings fitted unless you have a 172 cup .
I can't see any bearings or rings on the pics ,i 'd e mail the seller and ask if they come complete with bearings and abs rings if i were you .
Good cars if you get a good un , get a bad un and you could be throwin away plenty of cash :(
Quite a few on here .

Was close to gettin a valver a few years ago , couldn't find a good un anywhere , travelled all over the place .
I must admit , still think that the Williams has that wow factor , very nice cars :)
Think i'll stick with my 1.2 that looks like a 182 , lol ;)
There ya go mate , it doesn't always have to be quite up to the performance of the RS clios to have fun . Theres plenty of other good cars out there like your old golf . Just comes a time when you have to get rid and get something newer .
^^^^ What a good idea . Because it always seems to rear its ugly head frequently . I normally try to steer clear of these kind of threads myself , but seems i got drawn into this one
Exactly the reason i bought the 172 and 182 new , a 3 year warranty , after a certain age a car can start to become a bottomless pit , throwing good money after bad just to keep it on the road . Just cos i had a few quid knocking about doesn't mean to say i should throw it away on an older more...
