Flat floor in the rear looks good, tidy job.
The plastic blocking the drains is part of the shield that goes over the top of the wiper motor, they are brittle thin plastic which falls apart. Not needed, i dont think any of mine are intact.

I needed a custom turbo oil feed making up for my new turbo setup, so popped down Global Hydraulics (formerly northern hose and hydraulics).
Excellent service as usual, £35 made in ten mins whilst waiting. Recommended if needing custom hoses in Teesside area.

M7x1 iirc, ive used regular flange headed bolts on mine.
Give the head a clout on the originals with a 3/8 extension or similar drift before undoing, usually come out ok doing that.
Unfortunately people use/recommed the wrong stuff for the cam covers. Id scrape it off and use the correct anaerobic flange sealant to avoid any future headaches. If a bit of sealant comes off and blocks an oil gallery or oilpump strainer, be engine rebuild.

Dmf fail is common enough on them. I have a 225 breaking that vibrates from low rpm when revving on idle, dmf issues.
Bad injectors would cause a misfire not vibration. It wont be bearing related, when they are failing the engine revs ok with audiable knock, not vibration.
Is it still running the forge cooler? Looks quite small. Sounds like our old 250 ic which consistently pulled 30/40deg temps when on it on a forge cooler. They dont work great on any car.

Been using the orange dci this week. Ive done 200ish miles in it and no sign of engine warning light, running decent. I stuck a tin of liqui moly diesel purge in the tank and give it a high speed italian tuneup.

Need a dti and degree wheel, with the catcams tooling to hold the cams in place without cam cover on, to time them up bang on the money to the spec sheet.
Yep possibly bad wiring to the plug. On my dci i noticed the wiring was bare to the pressure switch for 20mm or so and corroded to fcuk. Still worked suprisingly, depinned connector and repaired it before issues.
Ecumaster black, maxxecu and link from memory will all talk to the clio 2 canbus nicely if you want oem dash to work properly, with all the good features of a modern standalone ecu.
