I'm going to be buying an OMP steering wheel (with horn in middle) and boss soon.
Before I do, what am I expecting to see when I take the old one off? Is it just a case of plugging connectors in or is it a bit more than that.
What happens with the airbag etc - I don't want the light on the dash.
Ive got a sports cat on mine. Only tine I get eml is doing long journeys on the motorway.
Usually cost a bit more but is easier than keep swapping a standard decat out for MOT.

Mine has rs tuner and still get a kick at 5k but nit as vigorous as it used to be.
Can definatley notice it more with induction kit on as it changes note at 5k.
When cold, it should rev itself for a while when slowing down to a stop if it is mapped.
If you need a written agreement, then you cannot have to much trust in the other party. I would only have a select few who I would trust with this type of thing.
Just buy your own and have no qualms then.

Buy that engine for all I care. Just seems a waste of money to me.

For £2500 you could probably buy a very good Clio 1*2 which is almost sorted for track/rally bar a few modifications. You would be putting out more power immediately. Seems like a no brainer to me.
You day your not clued up on the f4r but you will learn like you have with the one you have...
