You have to be very unlucky to be pulled for plates without the little numbers on. I have seen people drive round with plates with no numbers in at all. Some even with random words/names on with no relevance to the car.
I get the same Dan.
Can you feel the knock under your feet aswell?
Ive checked every bush, joint, you name it.
Am going to check the calipers next but I don't understand why I would feel it under the car?
I was referring to the amount of times you have told people not to try it there selves as it ends in failure, but they don't take your advise. I was being sarcastic but you have now ruined the moment.
Just doesn't make sense to have it done on a car that's worth probably £500-800 on top of the work done.
Even then, your not guaranteed a perfectly timed engine.
Have mick or Dan do it for less and have peace of mind. No brainer to me.
Still clunking. Getting it back on the ramp wednesday. Have had the dog one on and off. Can anything to do with the brakes cause a clunking sound? Is the only thing I havnt thought about but then it makes sense it does it when I'm coming to a stop, or slowing down and turning.
I will just take it to mick and get it all sorted out.
At least its running and feels quick for the time being :)
Backbox being changed tomorrow as well for a nice stealth. New tyres next Wednesday.
Will have to do a proper meet soon.
You going to css?
S J Auto Renault Specialists by my house.
They have RS's there all the time.
I know that counts for jack bit you would like to think they know what they are doing.
I have always doubted it to be fair. Have spoke to mick and he said to bring it down to check but ive never got the time. I'm off work next week so I might book it in if you don't think its right on Saturday.
@N4TH4N come and have a go in mine. I need someone to drive it to put my mind at rest.
Do any of yours bounce you up and down when sitting at traffic lights etc?
The revs don't drop, it just judders.
Sort of still kicks. I don't really know, ive sort of got used to it.
Induction kit definatley changes note at 5k. Doing just under 100mph in 3rd so I'm happy with that.
