Cars all back together and its wheels are on the ground now. Just waiting for it to warm up a bit so I can give it a road test.
First track day booked for 2nd of March at Donnington park.
It looks high but the angle of the photo is terrible. The turbo split rims don't help it.
Interesting thing, it should have purple seat faces too but you can't see those from that angle.
It was brought into the uk in 97, probs for about £25k...
The colour is Amethyst. Quite common on German registered 964 RS'.
Paul Steven sold one that colour last year. https://www.paul-stephens.com/prestige-cars/Porsche-964-U1976/
Most RS's have 3.6 listed as their engine size. I guess it was just laziness on the inputting side of things in the 90's. I'm yet to find one which says anything but 3600cc.
Even K170YOV above comes out as a 3.6. Its currently up for sale for £245k...
In fact this is a weird car.....
Looked its VIN up...
Make: PORSCHE
Model:911 CARRERA 2 RS
Reg:J791SWL
Vin:WP0ZZZ96ZNS49**** (I've starred out the last few.....)
The 9 (WP0ZZZ96ZNS49****) in the VIN dictates that this is a Factory RS. In which case it must be the only one in that colour. If...
Could still be an RS regarding the 3600cc listing.
Both of these are genuine RS' that show up with 3600cc on the DVLA.

Guys
Do you know anyone who can give me 21 days insurance on an Alpina? No one seems to want to touch it?
Its registered as a Make - Alpina, Model - Alpina and this seems to spin most insurance companies out.
Had some fun and games with this recently. Its been on stands for a few months now.... its watched me take the tow bar from the Alpina.
The last owner told me it had been fully renewed when he bought it...
Oil filter (Which I had to use a vice to get off.....) and aux belt from 2009...
Quite possibly so. They hold an event there all weekend, much like yourselves but with 2 days on track. It forms part of the Westfield Sprint Series too so there might be some more discount there too.
I wasn't trying to be funny, I'd just like to do a full day this time :). £90 for a day vs...
When is the early bird pricing announced?
Also can there be a bit more of a discount for taking a full day on track this time?
Not owing to be awkward but I paid more for half a day at Blyton with you guys than I did for the full day with the Westie lot.
So.... do I sell the bodies? Buy a supercharger and some shorter rods.
It would make a 300ish bhp 8000rpm unit. Not sure it would ruin it though.
There is a 260bhp Duratec with Ecu for sale on motorsport parts. £7k is a fair chunk of dolla though.
