Mine had this and it was the plastic bung that goes into the rad, i bought a VW bung from GSF. Problem fixed.

Is the spoiler fitted tight to the boot lid? So when the boot opens the gap is not to small, picts would help.

Re: My PH1 172 I think the kit was £36 mate, the new ones are a little bit different (rubber looks better) so just fitting one would look a bit odd. You could fit all 3 bits and sell your good bits on maybe.
